Finally, Democrats get Tough

Filed under: Talking Points memo — talkingpoints @ 2:03 pm

Finally Senate Democrats are flexing their muscles.  Their getting tough.  Their showing backbone.  Their breaking onions to show they have onions – that the subject of today’s Talking Points memo.

Three members of the elite stike force; John Kerry (who served in Vietnam), Joe Biden and Chris Dodd have offered a resolution to vowing to punush Pakistan.  A staunch ally of ours.  If Pakistan doesn’t get tougher on terrorism.

Democrats threaten to hold delivery of 18 new jet fighter planes promised to Pakistin, block the sale of 18 more and back out of an agreement to refurbish 30 more aircraft already in use by Panistan’s air force.

Now the strike force leader, John Kerry (who served in Vietnam) spoke for the group.  He said, “We must never forget the importance of going after the terrorists before they strike.”

Shazam!  Welcome to the Swift Boat.  The War on Terror has been going on for years and this guy wants a preemptive strike!

This is unbelievable.  But still this is momentous.

Here is the Democrats strategy to win the war on terror in a nut shell:  Abandon the battle field where terrorists are fighting us, in Iraq, and instead redeploy them to attack our allies.

Threaten to make Pakistan weaker, while they demand they step up their efforts to fight terrorists.  The same terrorists the Democrats want us to surrender to.

This stuff is made of legend.  Why in years to come this plan is going to be studied in every war college, every war planner including those in al Qaeda who look to this moment as one in which American’s elected liberals decended.

Absolute stupidity.  I have to end this, I’m laughing too hard.

And that’s the memo.
