Followup up to al-Zarqawi is DEAD!

Filed under: Talking Points memo — talkingpoints @ 3:37 am

Ask a question to the far left wackos and you get an answer – that’s the subject of today’s Talking Points memo.

In my last blog I reviewed the anti-war positions that the elected Democrats expressed and noted their muted reactions when justice finally caught up with Abu al Zarqawi.

I said that Democrats should be calling for hearings to determine if terrorists rights were violated, were they spied on without warrants?  Was the bombed house an atrocity committed by the U.S. Military?  Did we obtain information from torture?  Or mistreated captured terrorists?

If the Democrats won’t stand up for terrorists and their moment of loss, I asked who will?

Well, it didn’t take long for the answer to come.  According to representative Pete Snark of California, ‘we took out Zarqawi just to cover Bush’s rear end so that he doesn’t have to answer for Americans killing innocent Iraqi’s and Bush’s sagging poll numbers.’

Zarqawi the be-header, murdered hundreds of Americans and Iraqi’s which Stark dismissed his demise at the hands of the U.S. Military as a ‘cheep stunt.’

According to Stark “Iraq is still as mess, we need to get out!”

Then former Democrat presidential contender Dennis Cocentish of Ohio said that Zarqawi was a ‘small part of a growing anti-American insurgency’ and he repeated the often herd Democrat cry for us to ‘cut and run.’

Both John Kerry (which by the way, he served in Vietnam), and Jack Murtha, joined in the call for us to get out of Iraq – exactly what the terrorists want.

So, ask the question and get the answer.  For the record, terrorists can count on elected Democrats after all.

I just wonder which of these guys will go to the Zarqawi funeral.

And that’s the memo
